History of the 1970s California Dulcimer Scene

Thanks to Charlie for sending this to me. A documentary, Hearts of the Dulcimer,  has been made about the history of the 1970s California mountain dulcimer scene and will be released in a very limited number of theaters. Here are some videos of parts of the documentary:

It was interesting to see what old California hippies look like now! Pretty wild instruments but I still prefer more traditional instruments and traditional styles of playing. Still it was a great contribution to the  dulcimer world in generating interest in the instrument.
