Dulcimentary: Dulcimer Collection at the Museum of Appalachia

Dulcimer Collection: Museum of Appalachia http://youtu.be/NJ6PdYVVdKo

While my dulcimentary focuses on the dulcimer collection (and I didn’t get all that either) there is a whole lot more to see at the Museum of Appalachia. They have everything imaginable connected to everyday life in Appalachia in the 1800 to mid 1900s.  The museum is well laid out and worth the price of admission. The museum is outside of Knoxville.  http://www.museumofappalachia.org

  1. We have visited the museum, and it is well worth the trip. Almost anything from years ago is on display, and very neat and well organized. I took several pictures of their dulcimer collection, and it is quite large. Plan for plenty of time to go thru the entire museum.
