On the same block as the Boone Tavern is Warren May’s woodworking shop . In addition to the fine dulcimers and other woodworking items Warren makes he has a number of very old dulcimers on display, one dating to the 1830s. Warren was born and raised in a pre-Civil War two-story log home which to me just seems fitting for some reason.
